Routine Education/Training

  • Counsels employees regarding health and safety issues
  • Host health related seminars and/or brown bag learning sessions
  • Instruct patients and their families in proper care and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain their health
  • Provide CPR/AED and first aid training

Preventative Vaccinations and Testing

  • Administer influenza vaccine program
  • Administer vaccines for business related travel and occupational hazards such as Hepatitis B vaccinations
  • Provide on-site bloodwork
  • As needed testing for such things as Tuberculosis, Strep, and COVID-19
  • Respirator fit testing and OSHA questionnaire approval
  • CDC recommended vaccinations for international travelers
  • Vision, respiratory, hearing, and blood pressure screenings

  • Coordinates the Return to Work program with employee, supervisor, physician and third party administrator
  • Coordinate annually written policies
  • Host and coordinate blood drives
  • Host annual health fair
  • Process Medical Leaves of Absence
  • Orders all medical supplies
  • Stocks first-aid kits
  • Maintains medical/ERT information board
  • Coordinates first reports of infection/illness/injury incident reports, corrective action and medical follow up for work related illness/injuries
  • Coordinates all workers’ compensation claims
  • Processes Short Term Disability claims
  • Process Clinical Records
  • Support any interactions with base/site and municipal medical and emergency services during drill and actual emergencies
  • Submit and track infection and medical incident reports

  • Determine need for Fit For Duty (referrals)
  • Annual biometric screenings
  • Regular interval health coaching for those most at risk
  • Provide screening exams as required by occupational safety health administration
  • Maintain blood borne exposure control programs
  • Maintains accurate and timely safety records
  • Orients new employees to safety programs
  • Monthly ERT training
