Health Coaching

Within any screened population, there will inevitably be a portion that shows higher risk in any of several key health categories based on results obtained in the initial health assessments and screenings.  Through a caring relationship-based approach, OnSite Health is available for follow-up health coaching to address the company’s higher-risk population and has been effective at helping these individuals make healthy changes needed to live happier, more productive lives.  This, in turn, benefits employers by averting chronic and costly health care expenses and productivity inefficiencies over time.

To determine eligibility for follow-up health coaching, we use guidelines for good health as outlined by established health organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and the American Heart Association.  Our standard eligibility ranges for coaching go ‘beyond’ what is deemed ‘abnormal’ so as to intervene with the most ‘at-risk’ participants.  Below is a list of our primary parameters for coaching:

  • Cholesterol Ratio of 5.6 or higher
  • Total Cholesterol of 230 mg/dL or higher
  • HDL Cholesterol of 34 mg/dL or lower
  • LDL Cholesterol of 160 mg/dL or higher
  • Triglycerides of 180 mg/dL or higher
  • Blood Sugar of 126 or higher
  • Blood Pressure (systolic) higher than 140
  • Blood Pressure (diastolic) of higher than 90
  • Exercise less than 2 times per week
  • BMI result of 30.0% or higher
  • Irregular Pulse Rhythm
  • Tobacco use

Combining our screening service with our coaching service is the most logical and best step in curbing your employee health care expenses.
